# Welcome to RevReply

Welcome to the **RevReply API documentation**.

RevReply provides APIs and webhooks that allow you to integrate your applications with your RevReply workspace, automate conversations, and receive real-time updates about leads and messages.

## Getting started

If you're new to the RevReply API, we recommend starting with the following:

1. **Get your API key**\
   Obtain an API key from your RevReply account.

2. **Authenticate your requests**\
   Include your API key using the `Authorization` header:

   ```http theme={null}
   Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY
   ```

3. **Make your first API request**\
   Explore the available endpoints to retrieve information and interact with your RevReply workspace.

4. **Configure webhooks**\
   Use webhooks to receive real-time notifications when events occur, such as messages being received, replies being sent, or meetings being booked.

## API

The RevReply API provides endpoints for managing and interacting with your RevReply data.

You can explore the available endpoints in the **API Reference** section of this documentation.

All API requests use JSON for request and response bodies.

## Webhooks

RevReply webhooks allow your application to respond to events in real time.

Each webhook is delivered as an HTTP `POST` request containing an `event` object and an event-specific `data` object.

## Need help?

Use the documentation navigation to explore the API endpoints, webhook events, and available V1 classifications.

If you are integrating with RevReply for the first time, start with the API Reference and then explore Webhooks when you are ready to handle real-time events.
